FOSSIL COLLECTING AT THE
PALEO SITE (NEAR PAYSON)

This is a view looking south over SR 260. It shows the large paved parking area on the south side of SR 260. This is only 0.5 miles past Control Road. It is a great place to meet as there is plenty of parking and only 15 miles from the junction of SR 87 in Payson (at the McDonalds).

This view shows the parking lot and the collecting area to the left.
The collecting area and a close up of the ground showing brachiopods and other fossils.
