Society Volunteer 
As a paid member of MSA, you have the opportunity to “volunteer” at society meetings, field trips, shows, events, etc. This is only open to MSA Members. To sign up now to volunteer for MSA email the club.

General Meetings

In event you don’t see future events or meetings posted under Events tab, please use following MSA meeting rules to help with planning your calendar:

1. MSA Meetings are typically 3rd Thursday (January-June) and (September-November).

2. December is MSA Holiday Jamboree (2nd Saturday).

3. Summer Recess/No Meetings (July & August).


For general meeting, members and visitors may begin arriving at 7:00 p.m. with presentation starting at 7.30 p. m. (No meetings July & August)

Meeting location is usually at the Franciscan Renewal Center, Piper Hall, 5802 E. Lincoln Drive, Scottsdale, AZ  85253.  

Must check website to confirm Meetings Date/Time before traveling to meetings.

Junior Program
Junior member aligned with paid adult member have the opportunity to attend the 'Future Rockhounds of America' junior program before the general meetings. Juniors arrive at 6.40 p. m. see Meeting Schedule

Field trips 
Scheduled MSA Field trips you will find in the Event Schedule.

You have to be a Member of MSA to participate in the field trips. In addition, you have to 'register' online to attend.
