MSA Mineral CollectionBy Chris Whitney-Smith, Curator MSA Mineral Collection The MSA has had a mineral collection from its beginning, and MSA 1964 President Bob Jones recalls a hurried journey to Bisbee in the late 1960's with group of MSA members to accept a donation of what has become the core of the MSA collection. Key Arizona specimens of the MSA collection were featured in Mineral Collections in Arizona-I (May-June 2013) and Mineral Collections in Arizona-II (January-February 2020) supplement issues of The Mineralogical Record.
